The Seville Police Department is not currently hiring for the position of police officer.

The Police Department accepts applications for Auxiliary Patrolmen.  Auxiliary officers are volunteer officers who may be used to supplement the current staff when needed.  Auxiliary officers are required to donate 16 hours per month, and in return they receive invaluable experience and training.

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following conditions:

·         Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of appointment

·         Must be a U.S. Citizen

·         Must have a graduation certificate/GED

·         Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license

·         Must have received an Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Academy certification

·         Must reside within 30 minutes driving time of the Village

·         Psychological, physical, polygraph and background examinations
